Boat Ramps

 MOORE’S BOAT RAMP

Streaky Bay’s Moores Boat Ramp is located approximately 7km out of the township on Cape Bauer Road.

The boat ramp is a concrete, four-lane ramp with two walkway pontoons. A single secondary concrete ramp for the launching of smaller boats is located on your left as you drive into the boat ramp area. There is ample car and trailer parking, and fish cleaning and toilet facilities are available. No camping is permitted.

Fees and charges apply to the launching and retrieving of boats at this facility.

Daily, weekly and monthly permits are available for purchase from authorised distributors – currently, the District Council of Streaky Bay Main Office, the Streaky Bay Visitor Centre, and Killa’s Streaky Bay.

OTHER BOAT RAMPS

Streaky Bay’s first concrete ramp at Slidy’s beach is situated on the eastern side of the bay suitable for smaller boats only. In addition, boats can be launched from boat ramps at Sceale Bay and Haslam. No boat ramp fees apply at these ramps.

For a financial year permit application, please enquire at Council’s main office and the Streaky Bay Visitor Centre.
