DESCRIPTION:From the coast line to the finish line The Streaky Bay Cup has something for everyone.\nThe excitement is building for The 2022 XXXXGold & Streaky Bay Community Hotel Streaky Bay Cup. \nIn 2022 the event will be held on Saturday 26 March at the Streaky Bay Race Course. \nFor many\, it is the main event for the Streaky Bay Calendar. It offers that one day of the year to live it big\, go crazy and wear the most daring piece you have in the wardrobe. To others\, it may be just an excuse to get together\, bet big and enjoy a fun day in this beautiful seaside town on the Eyre Peninsula. \nThe night before\nThe Cup carnival festivities kick off on Friday 25 March at the Streaky Bay Hotel\nIn the front bar “Happy Hour” from 5.30pm-7pm\, Pub raffle at 7pm. Upstairs dinner from 6pm. Come just for the Calcutta or book a table for dinner with special guests yet to be announced! \nThe Cup Calcutta will commence approx. 8.30pm upstairs in the dining room. Bookings are essential\, and places are already limited. To make a dinner booking call the hotel on 8626 1008. \nRace Day\nIf you don’t want to take the car – catch a Shuttle bus. Buses will be running to and from the track from the Streaky Bay Hotel every half hour starting from 11am with the first race starting at approx. 12:30pm. \nRacegoers will experience a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with everything they need to have a great day at the race’s Punters will have access to TAB\, oncourse bookmakers and the punters club. \n \n\nFashions At the Races\nFor the fashion conscious the 2022 Fashions at the Races competition will be a real draw card. \nThere are plenty of fashion prizes on offer for the Ladies:\n• Best Dressed\, Watch this space for prize announcements!\n• Runner Up\, Watch this space for prize announcements!\n• The Best Millinery\, Watch this space for prize announcements! \nThe Winner will go on to qualify for the state final. \n\n				Discover More\n				\nFor the Lads:\nBest Dressed Male\, Watch this space for prize announcements! \nTrackside Marquee & Childrens Entertainment\nThere will be plenty of food stalls on offer and an oncourse bar that operates on a drink ticket system. Tickets can be purchased at the track where there will be eftpos facilities available. \nAnd don’t forget to bring the kids as there will be an “children’s entertainment” marquee with activities to enjoy throughout the day including face-painting and of course the jumping castle will be there again this year. \nFor those who love to go to the races and enjoy a Marquee\, why not book a seat in the “ “Trackside Marquee” as it’s the prime position situated right at the Winning Post. \nTickets to the Marquee are highly sought after so make sure you book a table of 10 or come as a couple – any size group can be accommodated.
