Bait\, water\, sausage sizzle and a raffle will be available for sale. \nThe competition is FREE to all – refer to the poster for details. \nJoin us after the competition for games and activities on the foreshore\, why not bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it !!! \nThe competition has a catch-release policy\, and if weather is inclement the event will be rescheduled with notification provided via Facebook and this page.

It offers that one day of the year to live it big\, go crazy and wear the most daring piece you have in the wardrobe. To others\, it may be just an excuse to get together\, bet big and enjoy a fun day in this beautiful seaside town on the Eyre Peninsula. \nThe night before\nThe Cup carnival festivities kick off on Friday 24th March at the Streaky Bay Hotel\nIn the front bar “Happy Hour” from 5.30pm-7pm\, Pub raffle at 7pm. Upstairs dinner from 6pm. \nThe Cup Calcutta will commence approx. 8.30pm upstairs in the dining room. The Calcutta Dinner is booked out\, however you are welcome to attend the Calcutta event. \nRace Day\nIf you don’t want to take the car – catch a Shuttle bus. Buses will be running to and from the track from the Streaky Bay Hotel every half hour starting from 11am with the first race starting at approx 12:30pm. \nThe Bayfunktion Pimms Bar will return in 2023 and is always a crowd favourite; this is available to all racegoers ! \nRacegoers will experience a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with everything they need to have a great day at the race’s.
