DESCRIPTION:Family Fish Day has been a favourite event with locals and visitors for over two decades. \nHeld on the first Saturday in January it is the most anticipated fishing competition on the Eyre Peninsula. \nCash prizes for the winning children aged 3 to 17 years along with rods and reels\, trophy’s\, fishing tackle boxes and great giveaways. \nScaled fish only\, catch release policy. \nRegistration: 8.30am Competition: 9am to 11am. \nBait\, sausage sizzle\, water and raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the day. \nCome along prepared with all your fishing tackle\, a bucket or cloth to carry your catch to the weighing station and be sunsmart. \nIf weather becomes inclement the event will be postponed.
