New Years Eve Fireworks 2018

Childrens Festival & Fireworks

Streaky Bay comes alive on New years Eve with entertainment on offer for the entire family.

The Children’s Festival starts at 6pm on the foreshore lawns at Alfred Terrace offering  3 FREE bouncy castles and face-painting by gold coin donation.

Live music will entertain the crowd before the fireworks.

Visitors and locals can buy delicious food and cold refreshments provided by community groups and local businesses including a variety of BBQ and fish menu items.

The young at heart can purchase a variety of glow in the dark products to get into the festive spirit.

Watch the fireworks display while listening to great music from 6-10 pm as families relax on the foreshore lawns with a picnic rug while the kids have fun.

At approximately 9.30 pm the Fireworks display goes off with a big bang.  The largest display in a regional area outside of a major city centre, the fireworks in Streaky Bay continues to impress locals and visitors at New Years Eve.

At midnight the fireworks will bring in the New Year for revellers celebrating the start of 2019.

The Streaky Bay CBD area is declared a Dry Area from 6pm, 31 December 2018 to 8am, 1 January 2019.
