About
Yantanabie Memorial Hall is a ‘must visit’ landmark if you are in the region. Fay Kelsh and her team ‘The Friends of Yantanabie’ have spent many years upgrading the Hall.
The ghost town of Yantanabie (Aboriginal meaning ‘deep water’) was gazetted in 1918. The town was once the hub of a busy community, but today only the Memorial Hall stands serenely housing the history of the area.
Be sure to call in and enjoy the hospitality of Fay and her helpers. Light lunches and a cuppa are available to groups. Please book ahead. You will be intrigued when hearing about the history of the area and marvel at the historic memorabilia on display.
