Acknowledgement of Country

Streaky Bay Tourist Promotions Inc. acknowledge and respect the Wirungu people as the first nations people of the ancestral lands of Streaky Bay and districts.

We also acknowledge the neighbouring Barngarla and Nauo people, and other tribes who have utilised the area and travelled through the region as part of their cultural activities.

We acknowledge the deep feelings of attachment and relationship of Aboriginal people to country.

We acknowledge that they are of continuing importance to the traditional people living on this land today.

We also pay respects to the other First Nations people who visit the region today.
