ABOUT
The Anglican Opportunity Shop, hereinafter referred to as the Bay Op Shop is owned and managed by the Anglican Parish of Streaky Bay it offers second hand clothes and goods to the local community. The Anglican Parish of Streaky Bay views the Bay Op Shop as one of its ministries to the community. It is not just concerned about buying and selling and making money. This ministry also provides the financial backing required for mission and for local parish causes. Of equal if not greater significance to fundraising, is the reality that the Bay Op Shop is concerned about people, who are in themselves [places] of purpose. As such, The Bay Op Shop offers more than goods for sale, it also offers hospitality, builds community and practices social inclusion.

We appreciate donations of pre-loved items. However, we cannot accept the following items:
- Cots – children or baby
- Electrical Goods of any description
- Helmets – cyclists or motor cyclists
- Baby capsules
- Car booster seats
- Prams and Strollers
- Sharp Knives
- Clothing with a workplace logo
- Mattresses
- Official military / police clothing
- Underwear.

The Bay Op Shop is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
During the traditional Christmas and New Year Holiday period, the Bay Op Shop is closed.
In the second week of January, the Bay Op Shop re-opens.
