Celebrating its 20th year – the Family Fish Day competition will be the most anticipated event in 2023.

Anglers will awake early to register at 8am on the historic Streaky Bay Jetty.

The competition is from 9am to 11am with great prizes up for grabs:

$300 for the heaviest/biggest Catch of the Day

$200 for the runner up

$10 for the heaviest of each species caught

$5 for the catching 3 species.

There will be give-ways and trophy’s to commemorate this significant milestone. Bait, water, sausage sizzle and a raffle will be available for sale.

Join us after the competition for games and activities on the foreshore, why not bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it !!!

The competition has a catch-release policy, and if weather is inclement the event will be rescheduled with notification provided via Facebook and this page.
